How do I modify an existing domain name record?

Please note that our current policy provides for modifying only contacts, servers, and addresses; the domain name itself cannot be modified at this time.

To replace an existing contact with a new contact, or to change information about the organization, or to change name servers, use the Domain Name Registration Agreement:

• Use the step-by-step Web interface to complete the Agreement. The completed Agreement will be emailed to the address specified. Verify that the information is correct and submit the Agreement via email to hostmaster@internic.net.

• Use the single page Web interface to complete the Agreement. The completed Agreement will be emailed to the address specified. Verify that the information is correct and submit the Agreement via email to hostmaster@internic.net.
  OR
  
• Complete the text version of the Agreement and submit via email to hostmaster@internic.net.
